SJVN Green Invites Bids for 140 MWp of Modules for Solar Projects in Punjab

SJVN Green Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN, has invited bids to manufacture and supply 140.4 MWp of solar modules for the Pojewal and Rurki Chandpur solar power projects in Nawashahar, Punjab.

The modules must be supplied within four months of receiving the work order.

The last date to submit the bids is June 13, 2023. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bidders must provide an earnest money deposit (EMD) corresponding to their quoted module capacity. The EMD amounts for different quoted capacities are as follows:

Eligible micro and small enterprises will be issued the bid documents free of cost and be exempted from paying earnest money deposit.

The minimum capacity allocated to the bidder will be 23.4 MWp and in multiples of 23.4 MWp. The maximum allocation to a single bidder will be 140.4 MWp.

Bidders should have manufactured and supplied at least 30 MWp of modules in the last seven years, out of which at least one such supply order should be for a project of at least 10 MW.

They should have an average annual turnover of ₹8.5 million (~$102,625)/ MW of quoted capacity for the last three years. Their net worth must be positive during the immediately preceding year and in any two out of three preceding years.

The modules must be sourced only from the Approved List of Models and Manufactures issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

Last December, SJVN Green Energy invited bids to commission a 100 MW grid-connected solar power project in Goliwada, Gujarat.

According to Mercom’s India Solar Tender Tracker, SJVN Green has so far floated tenders for 1.6 GW of solar projects.
