Sen was speaking at a panel discussion on “(Em)Powering India, Solar Solutions,” organised by Pratichi Trust at the Amartya Sen Research Centre in Salt Lake. Sen said India gets huge exposure to sunlight that very few countries can boast of. “We have to learn to make better use of it. Countries like China have been aware of this from the very beginning,” Sen said.
